AQUADOT was founded in 2003 in the Hanseatic Town Wismar. Since 2007, the head office is located near the banks of the river Elbe in Hamburg and a branch has been opened in Wismar in 2017.

The main working fields of AQUADOT are consultant services in port construction as well as hydraulic and coastal engineering. Furthermore, AQUADOT develops innovative flood protection constructions in cooperation with garment manufacturers.
